CIP system
TRAC has engineered several Clean-in-place (CIP) stations capable of cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters and associated fittings, without disassembling them. They are used in different industries where a high level of hygiene is required: dairy, beverage, brewing, processed foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
A typical CIP cycle includes the following stages:
- Pre-rinse to remove residuals directly to the drain
- Continuous washing with detergent solution
- Rinse with purified water
- Final rinse with purified water or with water for injection (WFI) where the quality of the cleanness is checked by measuring the conductivity of the drained water.
- Drying with hot air
- Cooling with cold air
