CIP system
TRAC has engineered several Clean-In-Place (CIP) stations capable of cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters, and associated fittings without disassembling them. Different industries, such as dairy, beverage, brewing, processed foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, where a high level of hygiene is required, use CIP stations.
A typical CIP cycle includes the following stages:
- Pre-rinse to remove residuals directly into the drain
- Continuous washing with detergent solution
- Rinse with purified water
- Final rinsing with purified water or water for injection (WFI), where the quality of cleanliness is checked by measuring the conductivity of the discharged water.
- Drying with hot air
- Cooling with cold air
