TRAC has been cooperating for many years with secondary schools and faculties in the field of practical education. It is an important part of the study program, as it connects theoretical knowledge with practice. Only close links and cooperation between educational institutions and the economy can lead to a great innovations which may lead to competitiveness.
Every year, we accept a large number of high school and university students for practical training, who mainly returns to Trac due to good working conditions, professionalism and acquired knowledge.
Our efforts are also recognized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, which gives yearly awards so called Vidmar Award for mentorships of practical education in economics.
This time, Trac employee Simon Cigoj received the prestigious Vidmar Award for a mentor of practical training in economics. In the 2020/2021 academic year, three students successfully finished internships with Simon Cigo. Receiving such an important award is a confirmation of the planned path and an incentive for future work with students.
The road to the top is strenuous, when you reach the top, the effort pays off, but you soon realize that you want to stay on top and the challenges become even greater, so great that they require change, growth and constant proving that you can do more.
Trac remained among the best, we have changed, we have grown, and we prove ourselves among the best on the daily basis. This is not based upon opinion, which is often considered only as the lowest form of knowledge, this has been established by our results which ranked Trac among the platinum holders of financial excellence per financial analysis of companies conducted by Dun&Bradstreet.
We are fully aware that people stand behind results with their input, their attitudes, and their passion, therefore we thank all and everyone for the opportunity, trust and given long-lasting partnership. Our goal is to strive in the company of the best.
This year, for the third time among all economic entities, Dun&Bradstreet selected platinum-credit excellence rated companies (companies that, according to the new failure score model, have been achieving the highest grade of golden AAA for at least three years in a row). TRAC d.o.o. is also one of the latter this year. In 2021, only 3.7% of all 217,359 registered companies in Slovenia achieved platinum credit rating.
Note: Dun & Bradstreet, as part of an international project, performs financial analyzes of companies and has a long tradition in awarding certificates of credit excellence in 19 European countries, including Slovenia. The credit rating of excellence represents the above-average credit value of economic entities.
TRAC participated for a second time at the Biotech Week Boston (BWB), a leading North America Biotech exhibition and conference. We presented our Flexible Modular Automation Platform (FMAP) and received very positive response from the visitors of our booth. This year we exposed hardware part of the FMAP which allows our customers to set up small scale automated processes. Customers can configure up to 12 modules (mini factories) within a small footprint to automate research, pre-clinical and clinical testing or to automate preparation of analytical samples. The positive response is proof that we are on the right track with the development of FMAP towards full realization of our mission – solving the problems of our partners.
On June 3, 2020, we attended an important strategic meeting in the field of biopharmaceuticals and cell and gene therapies. The event was originally planned in Boston, but due to the pandemic, it was conducted virtually. At the event, our technical director gave a presentation entitled “Benefits of modular automation in biopharmaceutical processes”.
During the coronavirus epidemic TRAC operates in accordance with the instructions of the NIJZ and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
Health is one of our core values and we have taken all appropriate measures to prevent the spread and infection of coronavirus in the care of our employees and the wider community. All employees were briefed on preventative measures to prevent the spread of the disease, focusing on cough hygiene, hand hygiene and disinfection. We have provided sufficient disinfectant and other protective material for all our employees. We have assigned work at home to all employees who have conditions to do so, canceled all business trips, and limited meetings to remote only, using appropriate information technology. In this way, we have taken care of the safety and health of our employees as well as the smooth operation of our clients.
Metronik d.o.o., as a leading partner, TRAC d.o.o. and Inomatika d.o.o., as partners, have formed a partnership with which they will jointly enter the market of suppliers of automation and digitization solutions in pharmaceutical production in the Republic of Ireland. The companies will be present at trade fair events for pharmaceutical production as will organize other promotional activities.
The investment within the Public Tender “Promoting Partnerships for More Effective Appearance in Foreign Markets 2020 – 2022” is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
TRAC presented new automation platform FMAP (Flexible Modular Automation Platform) on 2019 ISPE Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Conference in June 2019 and on Biotech Week Boston in September 2019. Both events took place in Boston, Massachusetts, the number one biotech hub in the world. TRAC developed FMAP as a result of close collaboration with biopharma industry leaders and understanding their needs.
Attendees of both events were able to obtain more information about FMAP and test the functionality of the platform first hand. Support for modularity, flexibility and ease of use were the most exposed pros of FMAP by the visitors. FMAP addresses all customer needs of CGT and other biopharmaceutical processes: batch data integrity, integration of various manufacturing equipment, full support for manual operations, material and equipment traceability and many more.
TRAC will attend an international conference on biopharmaceutical production “2019 ISPE Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Conference” that will take place in Boston from 18th till 20th June. Visitors will be able to try new software solutions, developed by TRAC as answer to biopharmaceutical manufacturing challenges: better patient safety, control of process variabilities, process equipment integration, cost optimization. TRAC will demonstrate solution for Cell & Gene Therapies (CGT).
The 2019 ISPE Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Conference focuses on innovation in production methods and technologies that enable a competitive and sustainable biopharmaceutical product supply for the future.
